HB512 – Virginia Farm and Forest Prosperity Plan

  • Directs the Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry to work together with farmers, foresters, and the agribusiness community to develop a strategic plan in year one of each new gubernatorial term and provide a progress update by December 1 of that year.

HB832 – Governor’s Schools; School Meals

  • Requires the Virginia Department of Education to assist regional Governor’s Schools in identifying costs, funding sources, and infrastructure needs to expand student meal access.
